Nicholas was selected as the winning composer for the score to the film -
Navajo for "Milky Way" or "That Which Awaits the Dawn"
by Gavin Heffernan.
The purpose of the compettion was to reference the music and the notated score in demonstrating compositional craftmanship to University Undergraduate students.
Nicholas was selected for the Pacific Rim concert held in Los Angeles for his work "Hoksip" for treated Piano.
