ISSA - A Symphonic work in 4 movements
ISSA tells the story of Jesus. inspired by Nicolas Notovitch who published a book called The Unknown Life of Christ published In 1894 . The work atttempts to convey the journey which is as much a musical one as a spiritual one. You can read more on Notovitch's journey HERE.

Chamber Works
Song of the Bee-Hunter fro Solo Viola
and Chamber Orchestra
A dark work composed while Nicholas was in Italy. A large
portion of the work was written during a winter trip to
Venice on an overcast wet and cold weekend.
Mundii na Twirii for String Quartet
The following work is nspired by a local kikuyu folktune used
to help teach children to count. Every movement features the
original folk melody in some shape or form.
Inukshuk
A reflective work for Viola and Piano
Conversations
Each conversation reveals different inetractions between
Marimba, Strings and Piano. Inspired by the concepts of
utterance signifiers from the world of linguistics.
Whel of Life for String Trio
An award winning piece (William Lincer Compoosition Prize). with some impressive compositional ideas; The Violin is detuned from open G to F# for one movement and in the last movement The Viola holds a pedal G throughout.The sound track for Movement 4 is currently a synthesised version only.
