A reflective song for Solo Piano - for everyone who ever
thought about turning back.

This music was composed for the for the soundtrack to the audio book ''Melancholic Diaries'' authored by Kushagra Bansal.
Full Version (23")
Short Version (7")

Song of the Bee-Hunter, 2nd movement, is a new arrangement from the original Concerto for Viola and chamber orchestra.
This slow movement is in contrast to the darker 1st and 3rd movements.

Shimmer features a cello ensemble and is part of the Dark Cello series.
The shimmer is created by the interplay of different parts overlapping..
Altering One's Aspect to the Sun is a quotation from Virginia Woolf and is the title work of the album. Some contention circles around what was meant by this, however those who knew her well, believe she was referencing ageing and how to stay young. The works for this whole album reference growing older in one way or another.
Some examples fo how the songs reference age include ''On Jolley Street'', a poem by John Gartland set to music, on how the son after a meting with the doctor is tasked to tell his father of father of terminal illness.
''Now is All We Have'' reminds all of us to live in the moment - rather than dwell on the passing years.
''Hymn'' - a celebration of life.
''Altering One's Aspect to the Sun'' is a work of optimism.
